Oh the excitement!

One of my images, Surfers in the Mist has been shortlisted into the last 50 for Isle of Wight Photographer of the Year! I'm so excited!!
What makes it even better is that my boyfriend, Jamie Russell (Check out www.islandvisions.co.uk) has had all three of his entries shortlisted, and my good friend Bryony aka Snigglefritz, has had one of hers shortlisted as well! Well done guys, may the best one win haha!

thanks! whereabouts from the island you from? I moved away about a year ago actually and am now living in Edinburgh! I miss the beaches in the West Wight so much, they're so beautiful!

I'm actually from Lake, not the best place really, kinda in between everything else and miles from anything interesting haha but I guess you can sympathise with the fact that west wight's miles from anywhere!!
I do admit the beaches around there are beautiful though, I've got so many great shots of surfers down there, one got into a top 50 a while ago so I was really pleased :) I bet there must be tons of stuff to photograph in Edinburgh though!
